If you experience connection problems (error code 401 or 1401) in PopMan running on Windows 7 or Windows XP,
the reason is probably that your e-mail provider requires a secure connection using protocol TLS 1.2 or higher.

If you don't need a setup routine or if you want to use PopMan
on a USB memory stick, you may prefer the ZIP
archive distribution. The archive contains all required
files including help and translation files. All program settings
are saved to the local file PopMan.ini, so your registry remains untouched.

If your language is not yet available, please consider
translating PopMan yourself: Just save the Translation.lng
file to your hard disk and rename it to your
language name (the English name!). Now open this file with a text
editor and translate all strings. See How
translation files work for details.
Download and Installation instructions:
Choose your preferred distribution and click on the appropriate link above.
After a short while, your browser’s save dialog appears.
Choose where on your hard drive you would like to save the installation file and start the download.
Depending on your connection speed to the Internet, the download should finish in a
Open/Run the file (for example by opening the folder where you saved it and double-clicking the PopMan.exe file).
