PopMan 1.3.13 supports OAuth2 sign-in for Google now.

But for this to generally work, Google first needs to approve it. Before then, I can add up to 100 email addresses for testing.

So if you or anybody else wants to test it, write me an email...

I am already working on this. The next update will support Google OAuth2 login...

If you experience sudden connection problems (error code 401 or 1401) in PopMan running on Windows 7 or Windows XP, the reason is probably that your e-mail provider requires a secure connection using protocol TLS 1.2 or higher.

Welche Mail-Server wurden für T-Online verwendet? Auf welcher Version von Windows läuft PopMan? Bei Windows 7, das ja schon seit über einem Jahr keine Sicherheitsupdates bekommt, kann es zu Problemen kommen aufgrund einer unzureichenden Unterstützung von TLS 1.2:

By default, all PopMan settings (e.g. email account information) are stored in the Windows registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PopMan
You can use the Windows tool regedit.exe to modify/delete the settings.

Wenn plötzlich Verbindungsprobleme mit T-Online oder auch anderen EMail-Diensten auftritt (ErrCode 1401), dann muss in PopMan das Protokoll von "POP3 SSL" umgestellt werden auf "POP3 TLS". Alternativ kann man auch das Protokoll "IMAP4rev1 (SSL)" verwenden.

There is a simple switch you need to set in addition to the general POP/IMAP access: https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps

The update check happens once per day after updating the mail list. But since v1.3.2 I did not update the corresponding version file on the server, hence no update notification. I can not reproduce the problem with the mail source you sent.

What version of PopMan do you use? I fixed a similar problem with version 1.3.2 (2018-10-31).

What happens when you also display the "Sent" column? Is the date correct in the Sent column?
