I have a suggestion to add a checkbox column to mark which emails should go to the trash tab.
Then, after clicking the delete button, the selected messages go to the Trash Tab.

1. Recycle bin for deleted emails so you can view them in the future.

2. Changing the font in the Trash tab. The crossed out font is illegible. You can add a font color change to make it stand out from the rest of the tabs.
