Hasn't this been explained somewhere before? Popman is not an email client, if you want pretty coloured text with shiny flashing widgets, scrolling banners and annoying background midi music then shouldn't that be the job of your email client, not a mail checker? I think for clarification we might l...

I took the liberty of suggesting Popman to the Portable Freeware site owner Andrew Lee and he finally had a chance to add Popman to the database.
I hope you don't object Christian, but I figured that it is more visibility to a truly deserving app.

Relative Paths
Christian you are the greatest, Popman rules... it supports relative paths. (Yes, I'm sad, I only just figured that out! ) So now my email notification sound and email client won't be lost when using different computers! Hazaa and Hurrah! Shouldn't Popman be featured on Portable Freeware !?!?...

Copy email address to clipboard
What do people feel about an option, when right clicking on an email, to simply copy the sender's email address to the clipboard? This makes it easier to paste it into other applications without having to open up the email source.

Mailto: tag attributes
Under the "Email Client" options tab, which mailto: tag attributes are supported by the Launch with command line option?
I have observed that To, and Subject work but Body does not. What about CC and BCC (you might want to email yourself the same email)?

You can't, because Hotmail is a proprietary email provider... ...and it's not even free anymore  ! It's not free? I assume you are referring to this Outlook Live thing that they keep trying to push on me? I certainly don't have to pay to have a Hotmail address but you're right, there ...

Well, so far I am still tempted to turn to Phoenix Mail , which is extremely lightweight and portable but it still lacks definitive HTML support (although I've since discovered it does have some basic HTML support). the fact that some people are still developing it (albeit very slowly) is encouragin...

Phoenix Mail seems to be the type of thing I'm looking for! It's still in beta but at least the very latest delevopment version only came out a few months ago. There are a few things missing that would be nice like: It doesn't handle HTML emails at all, you have to open them in something that can v...

I think the answer is psychology; people think because they can't see any saved options (i.e. ini files) that less system resources are being used. In reality, it's probably a lot easier to keep ini files in check than it is the registry... hence your point about the number of registry cleaners you ...

Which mail client do you use?
In addition to Popman of course! Let me know if I've missed some big ones off of the list (I think I can add more options to the poll). If you select the "other" options then it'd be great if you could specify. I tend to try to use Freeware or Open Source programs... For example, as I ment...
