PopMan

So where exactly should I find the IMAP settings? I can't find them in the Account definition or the Options panels. I've even looked in the C:\Users\terry\AppData\Roaming\PopMan\PopMan.ini file but it's empty. The accounts for my domain's IMAP work fine and also Gmail.

And for Yahoo authentication ...

I've added my Yahoo email account to Popman a long time ago using SSL IMAP and it worked. I've just setup a new computer with that configuration but it doesn't connect to Yahoo.

I read that Yahoo will only support Oauth2 for IMAP since May 2024 ...

Any ideas?

I have several email accounts set up on various ISPs. They all work fine but my Yahoo mail connection has an issue. Whenever I select several emails then delete them, the status bar shows each being deleted and they are removed from the list. But a few seconds later, some of them come back undeleted ...

I have a problem with an account that recently gives me an error:
Connection failure (Unable to connect to "imap.dreamhost.com" [TLS/SSL failure for imap.dreamhost.com: Unexpected TCP input disconnect)), ErrCode: 1401

Found the problem! Reinstalled Popman, no change. Then clicked on my Volume Mixer (Win7) and then the "mixer" button. Under Applications, Popman now appeared with its own volume slider (it didn't before), and it showed Muted! Unmuted it there and all is well!

In v1.3.9 I have selected various notification wav file sounds (can't select mp3), but none of them play when I press the TEST button or get incoming email. They play fine in Windows Media Player.

The sent column displays dates properly. BUT... I'm running v1.3.1 and when I go to HELP | CHECK FOR UPDATES it says "There are no updates available". Hence, I did not know about 1.3.9.

So I downloaded/installed 1.3.9 and the dates now all appear correctly!!! Sorry that I did not make the extra ...

I have Popman setup for a couple imap accounts and a Gmail account. For some reason, the Gmail account shows SOME of my messages received dates with the month set to 01 regardless of when they actually come in (so received on 09/12/2020 shows up as 01/12/2020).
