Hello Christian,
could we have an option to directly acces the RuleLogFile.log (and perhaps rename that to something like PopMan-RuleLogFile.log, so that my syntax highlighter may be configured with it system wide), preferably (please discuss) directly above the 'Rules..' option in the 'Tools' menu*?
I've (now) set the [Name="SureSPAM"] and [Name="Reoccuring"] sections to be deleted directly ('-> Delete'), and especially for the Reoccuring bit it is good to know if that is so after a while. Oddly it remains an interesting read./ (*Admitably also accessed by [Win] + R ; "%appdata%\popman".)
For syntax highlighting, one can use syn, SciTE or Notepad++, or even Vim, as found on http://syn.sourceforge.net , http://scintilla.sourceforge.net , http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net and http://vim.sourceforge.net respectively. There are more at the internet oriented SnapFiles, but this one seems interesting to though; TheScribe, at http://www.sequencepublishing.com/thescribe.html
Da rule.
Interestingly, you get a warning from Google when taking the Extras tab at Scintilla, but that seems trustingly enough. Thanks Google./
Thanks Christian. |

# Using double quotes for unrestricted search
For dutch users; you can check if it's save to delete a text-string (as defined with "" ) with Gerard van Santen's 'Zoekwoord' (searchword). Locate 'harp player' to see what I mean. (Or see subject line of this message instead.)
And for other languages, I'm happy to inform you about the new 1.6 version, providing mijnlijst.txt (mylist), in which you can add your own language. Although with 114000+ words in the mylist file, you shouldn't activate 'Uw extra lijst' in the menu (instead edit the mijnlijst.txt directly), but other than that, it's pretty fast.
Option 5 means to search for words containing the text string. You'll figure it out.
Thank you Sir Gerard! Cheerio. |
