Log files

I dont know if anyone else will find this useful or how difficult it would be to implement....
Is it possible to have separate log files for e.g. each month? For example, each named something like 2007-12.log? One of he features that I love about popman is the log file. I do not keep a copy of all the emails I receive and there have been situations in which I needed to check whether I previously received a certain email. Right now, I have set a high limit on the log file and periodically I archive a copy of it manually. Having separate month-to-month files will make this easier.
