Just started having problems deleting emails in GMail, only seemed to start about 7 hours ago.

Anything changed??

Well seems that I'm not the only person having problems (though you wouldnt know by the traffic in this forum).

The some of guys at pop peeper http://www.poppeeper.com/Forums/viewtop ... e6ebee4b6e are having the same problem.

I would still like some assistance with this from a technical level to see if a solution can be found as its driving me nuts.

Can you describe "problem" in more detail, please?!

I've made some testing and it seems to be impossible to really delete mails via pop3. They are just deleted for POP3 access but not on the GMail webinterface. There is a GMail option "When messages are accessed with POP: delete Google Mail's copy", using this you can check mail with PopMan and delete it, but there is a major disadvantage with it: if you RETRieve your mail with any email client the messages are also deleted!
I think GMail needs an option "When messages are deleted with POP: delete Google Mail's copy"!
It's definitely no problem on the client side.
