Damn, that's basic ... Just the way I like it! I can't stand email clients that take up 128MB of memory and slowly kill off your system in a painful and horrible death. (ok, so maybe I'm exagerating just a little  ) Seriously though, there seem to be a lot of mail clients out ...

How often should I check?
I've often wondered if there are problems with checking your mailboxes more frequently than every 10 minutes. I see that Popman will allow me to check my mail every minute but are there reasons why this is probably not a good idea? There seem to be two things that I can think of why its not a great ...
I get similar results as Jeroen... around 800KB minimized and 5MB when restored. The minimized memory usage increases when Popman is checking mail from the tray. I assume it is because text and graphics have to be cached when the window is restored, but aren't necessary when the window is minimize (...

Or don't delete them at all. Just put them into a 'junk mail' folder or bin. But you can't do that in Popman... I'm guessing that you mean that Popman shouldn't be used to delete emails right off, but that you should let your actual email client handle it? (which is a fair point) My main problem wa...

Re: Flag selected emails
Popman is becoming more and more a complete client, I think your email-client should handle this. Or do you use Popman to reply to your mail? Yes I do... I found a small program QM that I can integrate with Popman so I basically never need a real email client, unless there are certain emails that I...

Your solutions seem good. The problem is not really a huge one for me but I do tend to use Popman almost exclusively without a mail client so it would be good to know that I'm always getting the complete email. I think the idea of downloading a message completely when opening the email in a separate...

Flag selected emails
I'm on a roll today!! (three postings in one day!) Do people think it would be useful to have an option to flag or tag particular emails? I'm thinking that if I don't have time to read emails and just skim through them quickly, I might like to flag certain emails (as being more important than ...

I have some related questions and then possibly some requests depending on the answers. Does Popman know, after it has downloaded emails (or as it downloads each email), if some are longer than the default 200 lines? I've often come across the behaviour for emails with attachments where only the fir...

Additional columns for mail list
I'd like to politely request some a couple of additional columns for the mail list view: Create icons (or perhaps just text) to represent the priority of mail as in the "X-Priority: 1 (Highest)" source header field OR the "importance" field. I'm assuming this is possible since pr...

Update accounts for 1 tab only
We don't like to make your life too easy do we! I have another minor suggestion:
Perhaps you could add a menu option, on each tab, to update the accounts belonging to the selected tab only.

Crazy "Reply to clipboard" request
Here is a nice crazy request for you, when you have too much time on your hands and nothing better to do... I would like a feature that, when I select an email and right click (or use tools menu) I will have an option to copy the message body to the clipboard BUT in the form of a reply. In otherword...

Naming behaviour for "Join with tab"
Not really a bug as such but something you might want to change. When I use the "join with tab" option, the parent tab gets renamed. This is kind of annoying since if I have a tab set up already with several accounts and then add a new tab I have to rename the tab with several accounts. I ...
