I'm not sure what effect "Allow" should have?
Only black listed mail is deleted automatically.

Btw, there will be a new Beta version very soon with lots of improvements especially regarding rules...

You have to mask the " character by preceding a ~ character, like this:

Subject contains "YourSp~"amWord" OR Message contains "YourSp~"amWord"

This also implies that you have to write ~~ if you really mean one ~ character.

The "Return-Path:" header is set by the sender of an email. So it doesn't matter if you retrieve it from POP3 or IMAP server. The "Return-Path:" address is used by the receiving mailserver to send an error notification, e.g. if the destination address of the mail does not exist o...

I'm not sure that I understand you correctly, but when you display the source of a message, PopMan simply shows the source that has been retrieved from the mail server. It does not hide certain headers.

Btw, I have the header "Return-Path:" in mails from POP3 servers too.

It's because the logging feature doesn't work with plugins.
In the future there will be better logging functionality, e.g. a log file that contains all retrieved message headers and another file that contains the actions performed by rules...

See http://www.ch-software.de/popman/beta.htm : "If you want to save your settings into an ini file, create an empty file PopMan.ini in the PopMan directory." If you restart PopMan, it will take over the settings from the registry and save it into the ini file. The files blacklist.dat, mal...

No, it's not possible to change the log directory.
The mail accounts are saved in the registry OR in PopMan.ini, if it exists.

Usually, PopMan automatically saves all the window settings, including size, maximzed state and column widths. I don't know why it doesn't work for you. Please post the content of the [MainWindow] section of the PopMan.ini file. Mine looks like this: [MainWindow] Top=54 PaneSize=555 PreviewLayout=0 ...

I don't know what could be the problem. Did you make any modifications to the code or the project settings before compiling? Are you able to compile other MFC/C++ projects with your VC6 installation, e.g. a sample project created with the wizard? Maybe there is something wrong with the included syst...

By now, you can remove mails from trash! But you must have unchecked the View menu item "Hide Marked Messages" in order to see the messages that have been marked for delete, and press the "Insert" keyboard button (next to the delete button) to unmark it.

I've found the problem and fixed it. Actually, it's a bug in the compuserve IMAP server, which OE and Thunderbird seem to ignore. Therefore I changed the IMAP plugin to ignore this bug too. Just download the updated IMAP4 plugin and replace the old ProtocolIMAP4rev1.dll in the Plugins directory. Ple...
